Join alumni and friends of Camp Ewalu for a weekend of events to celebrate camp’s 65th anniversary and to re-dedicate Cedar Lodge after the renovation project.
Tentative Schedule of Events:
FRIDAY:
Friday, 4-7 p.m., Registration and check-in, Creation Center.
- 2MIT Burgers food truck for supper before the concert (please bring cash)
- Camp Store open, inside Creation Center
Friday, 7 p.m.: Peter Mayer concert (details below), outside Cedar Lodge
SATURDAY:
Saturday, 8 a.m.: Breakfast (please pre-register for this meal, using button below)
Saturday, 9 to 11 a.m.: Lawn Games, base camp area, come and go as needed with other activities
Saturday, 9 a.m.: Grotto Gallop 5K Trail Run
Saturday, 10 a.m.: Color Run (geared toward kids)
Saturday, 10 a.m.: Oral History Session, Creation Center
Saturday, 11 a.m.: Alumni & Large Group Pictures, grouped by decade/year, base camp area
Saturday, Noon: Lunch (please pre-register for this meal, using button below)
Saturday, 1 p.m.: Celebration Worship and Cedar Lodge Dedication
Saturday, 2:30-5:30 p.m.: Guided and Independent Activities, main camp area
- Wagon rides
- Nature hike / Ewa-loop
- New things: Bridge, Disc Golf, Orienteering Course, New trails
- Creek stomp
- High Ropes / Low ropes
Saturday, 2:30-5:30 p.m.:
Saturday, 5:30 p.m.: Dinner, Cedar Lodge (please pre-register for this meal, using button below)
Saturday, 6:30 p.m. Coffeehouse Trivia, Cedar Lodge
Saturday, 8 p.m.: All Generations Campfire, Central Plains (will have some transportation available)
(Alternate campfire at base camp for those with young children or limited mobility, Barred Owl ring)

Sunday, 9 a.m. Brunch, Cedar Lodge (please pre-register for this meal, using button below)

PETER MAYER CONCERT
Friday evening, August 28, 2026 – See Peter Mayer in concert at Ewalu! More details to come… Peter will play an outdoor concert at base camp (weather permitting, rain site TBD). Concert ticket is included for those who register for the anniversary weekend; donation suggested for those coming to the concert only. All are welcome!
ABOUT PETER MAYER:

Minnesota’s Peter Mayer has been singing and songwriting full-time for 30 years, performing in venues across the United States and beyond.
