 HOUSEBOATING -
Completing grades 9-12
Experience a week of fun and sun on the Mississippi River! Take time to explore as
you travel up and down one of the biggest rivers in the world. Explore sandbars,
swim, relax, talk, fish, or just hang out and grow in your faith, as your counselors take
you up and down the river.

PACK & PADDLE - Completing grades 7-9
Combine the best of three
worlds: camping, canoeing, and back packing. You and your group will spend two
days backpacking and rock climbing in Backbone State Park, hiking and exploring in the
woods. Then you will switch gears and head to the river. Spend two days
learning canoeing skills and exploring on the river. Each day will include Bible studies,
cooking over a fire, discussions, games, campfires and more adventures than you can
imagine.

M.A.D. CAMP - High School
Go M.A.D. at camp! (Music, Arts, Drama) Enjoy a week at camp developing skills
in music, art and drama, plus everything else at camp, like swimming, hiking, Bible
studies and campfires Electives during the week include guitar, photography, clay
sculpture, and drama. You will have the opportunity to develop your own pictures in
our dark room, dig up blue clay in the river, then shape, glaze and fire your project.

CHICAGO IMMERSION
Completing grades 9-12
Spend a week in the city of
Chicago! This trip will immerse you in urban life, giving you a chance to take part
in the ministries that seek to address the needs of people who live there. Explore
diverse cultural opportunities with urban youth. Let your faith grow as you discover
new people and places.

BOUNDARY WATERS CANOE TRIP
Completing grades 9-12
Travel from Ewalu to Northern Minnesota. Load up your
canoes and head even farther north to the Minnesota-Canadian border. You will canoe,
swim, hike, portage, cook out, have daily Bible studies, and do primitive camping.
Come experience the awesome wonder of God's incredible creation and deepen your personal
relationship with Christ.
Dates: July 6-11 FULL

ISLANDERS Completing
grades 9-12
Spend a week on beautiful Rock Island off the
tip of Door County in Northern Wisconsin. Hike and explore the island, enjoy
campfires, relax on the beach, have in-depth Bible studies, and good times together in
Christian fellowship. It's a fun and relaxing week.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING
Completing grades 10-12
Hey high schoolers, think you might want to be a counselor some day? Then this is
the program for you! You will spend your first three weeks learning about and
training for counselor life by helping out with daily camp duties and growing in your
faith. Your fourth week will be spent co-counseling with a counselor. Room, board
and stipend.
Dates: June 8 - July 11, July 13 - Aug. 8

AFRICAN VILLAGE
Completing grades 7-9 and Youth Groups
Each summer, international staff from our companion churches in Tanzania and
Namibia serve on summer staff. The African staff share their stories and culture
during the Arican Village program. Come with your youth group to experience a taste
of African culture including music, legends, art and language.
Dates: July 27-Aug. 1
Early Fee: $315
YOUTH GROUP TRIPS:
We have some spaces in our summer program reserved just for your group (or
a combination of youth groups). Pick from almost any of our out-trips and work with
our staff to set up a great week for your kids. Minimum group sizes and costs vary
depending on trip. Contact Ewalu for date and trip information and to set up your
group's trip.
Registration Information: Register by February 28 for the Early Fee. If
registrations are postmarked after February 28th, add $10 to total fee, and after April
17, add $25 to total fee. (Add $10 for Mini-Camp or Family Camp if postmarked after
April 17.) Sibling discount is $15 for each additional camper from the same
family. We must have your registration and deposit to hold your spot.
