Rock ClimbingROCK AND RAFT - Completing Grades 8-10 
Two big adventures in one week! Go rafting down the Wolf River in Northern Wisconsin AND rock-climbing at the best location in the Midwest, Devil's Lake State Park. It's a week full of camping adventures to remember for the rest of your life! Learn to trust more in God, yourself and friends. Remember your camera - you'll want lots of pictures of your exciting adventure!

packandpaddle2012PACK & PADDLE - Completing Grades 7-9
Combine the best of three worlds: camping, backpacking and canoeing! Try your hands at backpacking and rock-climbing in the majestic Backbone State Park. Then switch gears and head to the water's edge. For three days you'll explore river country by canoe in scenic Northeast Iowa. Each day includes Bible studies, picnics, cooking meals over a fire, fun conversations, games, campfires and more adventures than you can imagine.  Regular Fee: $429 Early Fee: $389

Completing Grades 7-9

Spend a week with horses!  Learn the basics of riding and caring for horses. Enjoy great camp activities as well, like swimming, cookouts, Bible studies, and campfires. Adopt one horse for the week, and by the end you'll be going on trail rides around camp, picking hooves, saddling your horse and learning to communicate with him/her. Play ranch games and try your hand at the lasso! Now, Intermediate Ranch Camp is available July 24-29 for experienced riders who have done Ranch Camp before or have lots of experience owning/working with horses. MOUNTAIN BIKE CAMP
Completing Grades 7-9

Whether you're new to the sport or a seasoned trail rider, this program at Ewalu is built for you! Learn new riding tricks, conquer challenging terrain, practice safe techniques - you'll even learn and get to practice basic bike maintenance skills. Review the basics and then ride awesome off-road routes! Bring your bike and helmet, or simply ask about borrowing one. We will provide extra tools, helmets and gear. Staff and special guests will guide riders of all skill levels. In addition to lots of ride time, enjoy bonding with new friends, honest conversations, great Bible studies and other activities. HOUSEBOATING - Completing Grades 9-12 
Experience a week of "fun and sun" on the Mississippi River! Take your sweet time exploring as you travel up and down one of the largest rivers in the world. Explore sandbars, swim, relax, talk, go fishing or just chill and enjoy great conversations. Grow in your faith and make new friends while sailing up and down the Big Mississippi.

ISLANDERS
 - Completing Grades 9-12 
Camp on beautiful Rock Island on the tip of Door County in Northern Wisconsin! It's gonna be a fun and relaxing week... Hike and explore the island, relax on the beach, warm around the campfire, make new friends, enjoy in-depth Bible studies, have unforgettable times and great talks about faith and life.

BWCAW2012BOUNDARY WATERS CANOE TRIP
Completing Grades 9-12
Our most extreme, leave-no-trace camping voyage. Canoe across deep, clear lakes and hike the remote forests of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Along the Minnesota-Canadian border you will canoe, swim, hike, portage, cook out, have daily Bible studies and do primitive camping. Keep your camera handy for loons, pine squirrels, large wildlife and the northen lights! Come experience the awesome wonder of God's incredible creation and deepen your personal relationship with Christ.

LT1.2012LEADERSHIP TRAINING (LT)
Completing Grades 10-12

Have you ever thought about becoming part of the Ewalu staff? Or a stronger role model to your peers and young kids? As an LT you'll practice effective leadership to use in your home, school, town, and church. Be a positive role model for younger campers in this life-changing four-week program! The LT program lets you experience many sides of camping ministry while growing in faith, boosting your confidence and building a community. Weekends are time off. Room and board plus a small stipend are provided.

Session I: June 10 - June 29 and July 8-13
Session II: July 15 - August 10

YOUTH GROUP TRIPS - Bring your whole youth group to Camp Ewalu! You can reserve a week just for your crew. Pick one of our Out-Trips and work with our staff to set up an unforgettable week! Grow in faith and strengthen the Christian community in your youth group. Minimum group size and cost varies by program. Contact Lynette (program director) for more information. Programs typically fill up early, so reserve your week soon!

 
Registration Info:
The Ewalu office must receive your registration and deposit to reserve your spot. Additional sibling discount of $15 for each additional camper from the same household. To recieve the first early discount price listed above, registrations must be recieved by the end of February. Financial assistance is available. Contact Camp Ewalu for more information.
