Pioneer Wagon PIONEERS - Completing 6th grade 
Wagons Ho!  Outdoor cooking, games, community, craft making, swimming, nature and Bible study will fill your day before you gather around a campfire... Then "hit the hay" in a covered wagon! Take care of the different animals at the Ponderosa farmstead. On your final night, you'll even get to check out a hoe-down with traditional food, games and music. Experience the "good old days" as a Pioneer!   Dates: June 20-25, June 27-July 2, July 18-23, 25-30, August 1-6. Early Fee: $359*

 

 

 


Ropes Course Challenge CONFIRMATION CAMP  
Experience Confirmation in a whole new way! Share adventures with your Confirmation class and your pastor or youth leader in the awesome outdoors! Meet new friends and energetic, fun counselors. Explore the meaning of affirming your faith and experience Christian community in a new way, all in God's wonderful creation. See your pastor or youth leader for more details.   Early Fee: $359*  Dates: June 13-18, 20-25, July 11-16

 

Ranch CampRANCH CAMP - Completing Grades 6-8
Spend a week with horses!  Learn the basics of riding and caring for horses. Enjoy all the great camp activities as well, such as swimming, cookouts, Bible studies, and campfires. By the end of the week you will be going on trail rides around camp, picking hooves, saddling the horses, and even try your hand at the lasso! Intermediate Ranch Camp on July 25-30 is offered for experienced riders who have done Ranch Camp before or have lots of experience owning/working with horses and want to take it to the next level. Early Fee $389*  Dates: June 20-25, July 11-16, July 25-30 (Intermediate), and August 8-13

 

Night CampNIGHT CAMP - Completing Grade 7 
Become a creature of the night!  As a Night Camper you will experience God's Word and beautiful creation at night. Experience the challenge of night hikes, the high ropes course, engaging Bible studies, late night (or "early morning"?) campfires, discussions, and midnight swims... Get ready for an awesome week of exciting adventures and new friends!
Early Fee: $359   Dates: June 13-18, July 11-16, August 1-6

 

NEW!  GEOCACHE CAMP - Completing Grades 7-8 
Experience nature with the help of GPS technology! Learn the new art of geocaching as you travel to state parks and other amazing scenic vistas in Iowa and neighboring states. Explore, learn map-reading, camping skill, and appreciation for nature using the latest tools of the trade. (Handheld GPS units and other gear will be provided for your use during the week.)   Early Fee: $399*  Dates: June 13-18 (grades 9-12), July 11-16 (grades 7-8)

 

NEW!  MOUNTAIN BIKE CAMP - Completing Grades 7-9
Whether you're brand new to the sport or a seasoned trail rider, Mountian Bike Camp at Ewalu is perfect for you! Learn new riding tricks, practice safe techniques for conquering the most challenging terrain, and hone your basic bicycle tuning/maintenance skills. Practice skills at Ewalu, then camp and ride other nearby off-road routes... Ewalu staff and special guests will guide riders of all skill levels to celebrate "all things mountain bike" in this newest summer camp. Ewalu has basic mountain bikes, helmets, tools and other gear are available for your use during the week, but bring your bike if you are able.
Early Fee: $399*  Dates: June 20-25 (grades 7-9), June 27 - July 2 (grades 9-12), July 18-23 (grades 7-9), August 8-13 (grades 7-9)

 

Pack n PaddlePACK & PADDLE - Completing Grades 7-9 
The best of 3 worlds: camping, canoeing, and backpacking!  Prepare yourself for hiking the heights, backpacking and rock-climbing in Backbone State Park. Then switch gears and travel to the water's edge. For three days you can improve your canoe skills while exploring river country! Each day includes Bible studies, cooking over a fire, discussions, games, campfires and more adventures than you can imagine.  Early Fee: $389*   Dates: June 13-18, July 18-23, August 8-13  Additional weeks may be available for youth groups by request. M.A.D. CampM.A.D. Camp - Completing grades 6-8 
Go "M.A.D." at Music, Arts & Drama Camp! Enjoy a week at camp developing skills and celebrating your creativity. Develop your own pictures in our dark room, dig authentic blue clay in the river, then shape, glaze and fire your project with a kiln. Electives include guitar, photography, clay sculpture, and drama. You'll also get to experience the other cool parts of camping onsite at Ewalu: swimming, hiking, Bible studies, campfires and more! Early Fee: $369*   Dates: June 27 - July 2 (grades 6-8), July 25-30 (grades 9-12).

 

Registration Information: *Register by April 20 for the Early Fee (reflects $20 discount off the normal cost of week-long programs. $10 early discount for Mini-Camp and Family Camp.) Additional sibling discount of $15 for each additional camper from the same family. Our office must receive both your registration form and deposit to reserve your spot.
