MINI CAMP
Completing 2nd Grade
 
This is it - your first chance to come learn all about summer camp! For two nights and three days you can sleep in bunk beds, meet new friends, and experience the fun of outdoor youth ministry at Ewalu. You'll have a blast! Get set for cool games, campfires, nature hikes, fun at the swimming pool, arts & crafts, friendly & funny counselors, and active Bible studies.
Choose either Sunday-Tuesday or Wednesday-Friday program.

explorers2012EXPLORERS
Completing 3rd Grade

You'll LOVE your first week at camp! Make your home in the cabins and begin to venture out, exploring and learning about the wonders of nature.  Meet new friends, sing around a campfire, cook out, swim in the pool, hike on trails, do arts & crafts, games, Bible studies and exploring - all in one cool, faith-filled week.
Please note that there was a mis-print in the printed copy of our summer camp brochure and the Explorer program is being offered during the 1st week of summer camp..

TRAILBLAZERS
Completing 4th Grade 

Move into your own village and explore what it means to follow Christ daily, in new frontiers. Make new friends in your cabin. Head out for exciting nature hikes, outdoor cooking, adventurous Bible studies, campfires, friends, fun counselors and special activities just for Trailblazers.

natives2012NATIVE AMERICANS
Completing 5th Grade
 

Spend your nights at camp sleeping in a teepee! Cook over a fire, hear Native American stories, try new crafts, have special campfires and learn about the traditions and cultures of the Native Americans. Enjoy daily Bible studies, solid friendships, food, prayer, praise and new adventures!

RANCH DAY CAMP
Completing 4-5th grades

New Ranch DAY Camp is offered for kids in grades 4 and 5 to learn to ride horses! As "Day" camp, the program runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, Monday-Friday, without overnights. Our experienced wranglers will teach basic horse care and horsemanship, including arena and trail riding in the mornings. Participants are each assigned "their own horse" for the week! Afternoons include a taste of camp activities like hiking, Bible studies, crafts, swimming and more. Price: $199

pioneers2012PIONEERS
Completing 6th grade
 

Wagons Ho!  Outdoor cooking, community building, games, craft making, swimming, nature and Bible study will fill your days before you gather around a campfire, then hit the hay in a covered wagon on the big Iowa prairie. Take care of the animals at the farmstead: ducks, rabbits, horses, chickens, goats, sheep, piglets, cats... and more! On your final night, you'll even get to check out the hoe-down with traditional foods, games and music. Experience the 'good old days' as a Pioneer. :-)

Registration Info: We must receive your registration and deposit to reserve your spot. Additional sibling discount of $15 for each additional camper from the same family. To recieve the first early discount price listed above, registrations must be recieved by the end of February. Financial assistance is available. Contact Ewalu for more information.
