To the Edge!
We've got an exciting summer
planned for you at Ewalu! So get yourself to camp and join in the fun! You'd
better be ready to make lots of new friends, live and sleep in the great outdoors, sing
lots of cool new camp songs, stay up late around the campfire, share your faith, learn
more about God, have lots of fun, and simply enjoy a fantastic week! So sign up
early and get the early-bird discount! We hope to see you at Ewalu!
La
Frontera That's the theme
for the summer! It's about living out our faith in the "between-places,"
the borders, the margins, and the fringes of society - taking our faith to
the edge! We'll be learning and following our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who
has gone to the very edge of life and death for us, who reaches out to us right where
we're at, no matter what the distance or the cost. We are going to focus on ways to
deepen our spiritual walk with God through prayer, scripture, and meditation. Come
and explore what it means to go to the edge for God, to follow Christ to the fringe of
society, and to reach out to the borders of the world around us. You'll have a
blast, and you'll discover all kinds of amazing gifts God has given you to make a
difference in your world. See you this summer!
Be an LT!!
"but hold the mayo"
We're looking for
high school students to be a part of the LT program next summer! LT stands for
"Leadership Training" and it's an incredible 4 week experience at
Ewalu! As an LT you learn to lead games and activities with campers, grow in
your faith as you share in Bible studies, campfires, and worship experiences, and serve as
a co-counselor for one week in a cabin. LT's contribute greatly to the energy and
enthusiasm of Ewalu, so much so that we couldn't live without them! So, consider
yourself invited! Call for an application or click this link:

M.A.D. at Camp!
guitar smashing acceptable (on friday's only)
M.A.D. Camp (Music, Arts, Drama) was a
huge success this past summer! Campers filled their weeks developing skills in
guitar, pottery, photography, and drama. Along with daily sessions, campers
developed strong relationships with their counselors and peers and enjoyed other camp
activities. Because of the big response, M.A.D. Camp will be offered again next year
for both middle school and high school campers. We hope to see you at M.A.D. Camp
next summer!
The RACHEL Page?! So have YOU met Rachel? I'm not talking
about your friend's mom, or your pet parakeet, I'm talking about "the
RACHEL!" Coming Soon - the Rachel Page! You'll be amazed, impressed, and
so inspired you'll want to get to EWALU this summer so you can actually meet RACHEL in
person for yourself!! She's amazing!
