Camp Ewalu offers environmental
education experiences that teach a greater awareness and appreciation for the natural

Ewalu has over 500 acres of land, with miles of beautiful hiking trails, located among the ridges, rock outcroppings, and woodlands of the Maquoketa river valley. Ewalu's main lodge and nearby cozy cabins sleep up to 190 persons. Food service staff serve delicious home-style meals. Camp highlights include: outdoor recreation areas, volleyball court, archery range, canoes, the high and low ropes course, cross country skis, snowshoes, and miles of trails. more
Outdoor education programs can be customized to fit any school group's need. Ewalu is available for school day trips, overnight stays and week-long programs. Ewalu's Outdoor Education Director is available to come to your school for a free presentation. |
