Enjoy over 500 acres of forests and prairies, miles of beautiful hiking trails and streams between the ridges, rock outcroppings, and
woodlands of the Maquoketa River valley. Ewalu's lodges and cabins sleep
up to 190 people. Food service staff serve delicious home-style meals. Camp highlights
include outdoor recreation areas, volleyball court, archery range, canoes, the high and

Outdoor education programs can
be customized to fit your school's needs! Our facility is available for day-trips,
overnight stays and even week-long programs. Our Outdoor Education Director is also available to
come to your school for a presentation. Call for open dates, and schedule your best-ever field trip. The kids will learn a lot - and love it!
Camp Ewalu offers environmental
