Winter At Ewalu
Winter is a perfect time for environmental
education at Camp Ewalu. We have 10 miles of ski trails, warm cozy cabins, plus lots
of things to do and learn! Ewalu has over 50 pair of cross-country skis, 14 pair of
snowshoes, and 2 klondike sleds for use by winter school groups.
You will be amazed at the
beauty of this place, surprised by the many opportunities available, and delighted at the
fun you can have with a winter program! We hope to see you at Ewalu.
Everything
is here for a great winter program!
Ewalu staff are available to lead winter activities such as animal tracking in the snow,
winter bird watching, outdoor cooking, winter survival, astronomy, and more. Our favorites
include snow shoeing, broomball, and cross-country skiing. We can provide the equipment,
student activity sheets and/or instruction for each of these classes.
We hope you will
consider a winter program at Ewalu. Call for a winter information packet today.
