the campaign costs. At a special service as part of the Fall Festival on September 16,
ground was broken for the first new cabin. Working plans for this building are on the
architect’s drawing board. He is also formulating plans for updating Walnut Lodge,
remodeling some cabins, and constructing the Senior-Friendly Lodge. These are exciting
times and we look forward to seeing construction equipment arriving at camp in the near
future.
  The congregation phase of the campaign continues with several
congregations conducting fall campaigns. If you think your congregation has not yet become
involved, please call the camp office for an update. We have staff members available for
training of congregation leaders at any time. The training is simple and takes only about
2 hours. All materials and information to conduct a local campaign are available
immediately at no cost to the congregation.  To reach our primary goal of $1.5
million we must involve more congregations in the Ewalu constituency.
